Values

I pride myself on being creative, reflective, empathetic, and a dedicated pacifist. My interests extends beyond application development and design, and playing the drums; I am deeply invested in making a positive impact on society and go out of my way to support others. I actively engage with the Gandhi Institute for Nonviolence and am a proud member of the NAACP. In my teenage years, I took on the role of a junior lifeguard. By my early twenties, I committed two years to aiding individuals with disabilities, nurturing a supportive and inclusive community. Entering my late twenties, I volunteered as a mentor for Big Brother, providing guidance and support to young people seeking direction. Moreover, I have repeatedly volunteered in both California and New York, contributing my efforts to soup kitchens to feed the homeless and joining Friends of the Urban Forest in planting trees across San Francisco neighborhoods. Despite a career in the tech industry, I have always found time to give back, serving as a licensed EMT in both California and New York during the early 2000s.

I worked evenings as a licensed EMT in California and New York states in the early 2000’s.

I located a missing hiker in Marin and helped get him to safety. This experience was the inspiration for becoming an EMT.
